Start on the boardwalk
Begin at Jenkinson’s Aquarium, 300 Ocean Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach. We suggest allowing 60–90 minutes, then taking a short boardwalk stroll before lunch. The operator lists year-round boardwalk access, but rides, shops and other attractions follow their own schedules.
Check the aquarium calendar and admission page for your date. Access update checked October 30, 2026: the aquarium says its wheelchair lift is being replaced and is expected to remain out of service until approximately November 30. Call 732-892-0600 to confirm current access before planning a visit that depends on the lift.

Make time for lunch at The Wharfside
Head to The Wharfside at 101 Channel Drive. Its published lunch menu gives this outing a seafood stop, with other choices for the group. Pick a meal from the current menu instead of building the day around a particular dish or price.
The restaurant’s contact page says seating is first come, first served. Leave room for a wait; our suggested meal allowance is 60–90 minutes once seated. Check current service and patio arrangements directly at 732-892-9100.

Trade the bustle for Spring Lake
Continue to Spring Lake for a lakefront walk around Divine Park, then choose a comfortable out-and-back distance along the oceanfront boardwalk. The state tourism guide identifies Divine Park, the boardwalk and downtown as places to explore. These are optional stops, so shorten the walking if the weather or your group’s energy calls for it.
The Spring Lake Historical Society is an optional history stop on the second floor of the municipal building at 423 Warren Avenue. Its published schedule is limited and seasonal. Confirm the date and access before including it; the museum is not a daily indoor fallback.

Choose the version of the day that fits
Our suggested order is aquarium, boardwalk, lunch, Divine Park and an oceanfront walk. Allow time between stops for traffic and finding legal parking; this guide does not set a drive-time promise.
In colder or rainy weather, keep the aquarium and lunch and treat the walks as optional. In summer, replace a walk with beach time rather than adding a full beach session to every stop. Check current beach operations and badge instructions. Off-season restroom availability should be confirmed separately.
Before you set off
Use Jenkinson’s parking guidance and posted local signs. Budget for each attraction, your meal, parking, travel and any beach admission. Published prices and operating details can change.
